Basics of Hemophilia

Hemophilia is a rare, inherited genetic disorder in which your blood does not clot normally. People with hemophilia are always at a risk for severe bleeding whether internal or external, also which could lead to death. Hemophilia is a defficiency in the protein needed in blood to clot. This protein is called the clotting factor. There are a couple differant types of clotting factors. They work with the platlets to help the blood clot. They both play a major role in blood clotting.
